Hebrews 5:11-14

I. A warning to pay attention. (vs 11)

Colossians 1:9-10

I Corinthians 2:14

II. A warning to grow up. (vs 12)

1. Basic teachings of salvation and spiritual growth.

2. Profess to believe but with no faith.

I Corinthians 3:1-2

III. A warning of childishness. (vs 13)

1. The Word of God is “the Word of righteousness.”

Romans 10:3-4

2. Jesus Christ is the Word of righteousness.

Philippians 3:9

IV. A warning to mature. (vs 14)

1. It is possible to reach maturity in Christ.

2. It is possible to distinguish good from evil.

Phil 4:8

3. It is possible to grow strong in Christ.

Romans 12:1-2
